挺隊內老大LeBron James，稱他才是真正的MVP。

賽後，J.R. Smith接受現場的採訪，他被問到對於LeBron James今天轟下本賽季個人第2
個大三元（職業生涯第39次）怎麼看？

"Who? The real MVP?" Smith said, his message echoing to the sellout crowd of
20,562 who were making their way to the exits. "There's a lot of speculation
about who should get the award, but we all know who the real MVP is."
