週四在芝加哥舉辦的MLB老闆會議中

光芒隊老闆Stu Sternberg請求聯盟正式批准其雙主場的申請

只不過聯盟對此並沒有給出一個結論

因為有其他的事情要優先處理(CBA)



要在Montreal做雙主場

首先是要讓聯盟核准其能擁有Montreal的經營權、轉播權

才能繼續後續的準備，但由於加拿大已經有藍鳥隊了

所以藍鳥應該會要求補償，才得以一起共享加拿大市場

此外也要獲得球員工會的同意



光芒目標是在六年內(Tropicana Field剩餘租約)完成這件事情

而如果順利的話，還可能提前買斷租約
