切爾西邊鋒佩德羅明確表示，俱樂部隊友哈扎德擁有足夠出色的技術和天賦，假
以時日，他依然能夠成為能夠與梅西相提並論的球員。在巴塞隆納，佩德羅曾經長期
與梅西並肩作戰，他的此番表態，頗具說服力。


在2015/16賽季裡，哈扎德的表現極為平庸，他似乎失去了上上個賽季在英超賽
場上大殺四方的犀利狀態。不過佩德羅堅信，哈扎德依然擁有足以與梅西相提並論的
天賦，他在接受《倫敦標準晚報》記者採訪時說道：“在我看來，梅西依然是當今國
際足壇最為出色的足球運動員，他依然與其他所有球員都處在不同的檔次之上。不過
哈扎德同樣是一名非常非常棒的球員，他的技術能力非常出色，同時他還非常年輕。
假以時日，哈扎德必將能夠成為全世界最優秀的球員之一。”


佩德羅強調指出，外界應該對哈扎德保持耐心，他說：“與梅西比拚球技，幾乎
可以說是一件不可能完成的任務，不過哈扎德目前的個人能力以及天賦，的確是超乎
尋常的，在綠茵場上，他總是能夠做出一些與眾不同的技術動作，並且總是能夠成為
決定勝負的關鍵人物。當你親眼看到過哈扎德魔幻般的腳法時，拿他與梅西相比較是
一件自然而然的事情。


“在我看來，大家應該對哈扎德保持耐心，並且應該忘掉上賽季他的失常表現。
實際上，切爾西上個賽季全隊都碌碌無為，責任不在哈扎德一人。You just need to
look in the past and see everything he's achieved for Chelsea and look
forward to him doing it again in the future.


“If you are a big player you will always have a lot of pressure on
you. It's the same for Eden, just as it is for Messi, Neymar and Cristiano
Ronaldo.


“Obviously Eden has that pressure, but he responds to it well and he
has proved that in the past. He has played well for Chelsea and his
team-mates for many years and always shown that he can take on that
responsibility.”
