Marc Newfield, the Mariners' first-round draft pick in 1990, has gone on
to become a big home-run producer in Taiwan, leading the league there with 41.

Another former Mariner is continuing to play in a more humble fashion. David
Segui, a native of Kansas City, recently signed to play first base for the
independent Kansas City T-Bones.

不要以為這只是個玩笑 現在成真的可能性越來越大了 在大松井沒有被選入明星賽的情況下 今年改成國家對抗的HomeRun Derby很有可能要請Ichiro代表日本出賽 Ichiro說他尚未收到正式的邀請 而他也還沒決定萬一受邀的話要不要參賽 而其他7個國家的代表已經大致決定了 條子的Mark Teixeir ...
