Jason Terry planned to join DeAndre Jordan on Mavericks

"For me it was like a package deal," Terry said. "If he (Jordan) came,
I definitely was coming. Because that automatically made us a contender."

Jason Terry 向媒體體透露，原先 Donnie Nelson 開了一份合同給他，

“對我而言，這就像是一筆打包交易，如果他(DeAndre Jordan)去了小牛，
我毫無疑問會去，因為如此一來我們就會成為(總冠軍)的有力競爭者。”

"When that happened, I kind of pushed the reset button," Terry said.
"Because I didn't want to start over. I don't want to be in a rebuilding
phase. I don't know if Dallas, at the time, knew if they were rebuilding
or were they retooling. They were trying to see what was out there."

當 DeAndre Jordan 反悔並且回去快艇，Terry 說他"as shocked as anyone,"

“隨後我必須重新考慮，因為我不想再重新開始，我不想再經歷重建了，
我不知道小牛隊是否會選擇重建。”


Terry 認為火箭隊上賽季打得不錯，而在當時看來他們比小牛隊更接近總冠軍。

Terry said his goal is to play 20 NBA seasons. Perhaps he'll get
another chance at returning to the Mavericks as a player, but, if not,
Mark Cuban has promised him a position once he retires.

Terry 的目標是打滿20個賽季，退役之後執教球隊，Cuban 曾承諾
會給他留一個位置。

"We needed to give him a little bit more help," said Cavs coach David Blatt.

騎士主帥 David Blatt 賽後表示 LeBron James 需要多些幫助。

After it was over, James was asked why he felt the need to impose
his will to get the Cavs back in it late.

"Who else was gonna do it?" James asked.

被問到有關末節接管比賽的問題，LeBron James 反問：“還有誰能做？”

J.R. Smith laughed when told Blatt thinks LeBron needs more help.

"I mean, I had 15 in the first. I don't know what else you want me to do"

有記者跑去問J.R.Smith，Blatt說球隊需要給James更多幫助，J.R.笑了：

“我想我在第一節拿了15分，我不知道你還想讓我怎麼做。”
