Having left the UK in the very early hours of Sunday morning, the Chelsea
travelling party for the FIFA Club World Cup has arrived in Abu Dhabi.

A total of 23 players has made the journey, with Edouard Mendy due to join
up later. He competes in the Africa Cup of Nations final later today, with
Senegal taking on Egypt.


For the rest of the squad, there will be the first training session in the
UAE later on. Keep an eye on chelseafc.com and The 5th Stand for coverage
of that.

Chelsea's first game is on Wednesday when we will take on the winners of
today's match between Al Hilal and Al Jazira, respectively the Asian
Champions League winners and the local representatives from Abu Dhabi.
