球迷常把朱育賢和獅隊的施子謙搞混。

188公分的朱育賢高大挺拔，加上帥氣外型和長打實力，
頗受女性球迷歡迎，擁有「酒窩大砲」的稱號。
但他剛入隊不久，已婚的消息就在猿隊網路頻道傳開，
「一棒得分」口號還被球迷改成「一棒已婚」。

只是朱育賢從不覺得自己帥，他拿起手機裡小時候的照片說：
「小時候隊友都笑我啊！都說我老起來放。」
統一獅投手施子謙和朱育賢同樣有雙濃眉、也一樣高大挺拔，
2人外表神似，像到朱育賢開玩笑說，他的兒子看起來還有些像施子謙。
球迷把施子謙誤認成他
2位球星長得像，也讓球迷感到迷惘，
曾有球迷將施子謙誤認成朱育賢，讓施子謙很尷尬。朱育賢則笑說：
「如果有球迷把我誤認成施子謙要簽名，我可能真的簽他的名字吧！」
