WILKO TO FACE WARRIORS - 橄欖球

Jonny Wilkinson, England’s World Cup winning fly-half, is listed for his
first outing of the season in a strong Newcastle Falcons team to play Glasgow
Warriors at Burnbrae on Friday (kick-off 6.30pm).

British Lion Wilkinson, 27, who has played a mere 17 games for Newcastle in
the last three years because of a series of persistent injuries, is joined in
the Falcons back-line by England centre Jamie Noon and Australian full-back
Matt Burke.

The Warriors team for the match will be announced tomorrow.

Admission is free and the game is preceded by a development match, which
kicks off at 4.30pm.

我承認這是一篇炫耀文...繼上次跟Wilkinson合照以及拿到親筆簽名以後,我又有機會
親眼看到Wilkinson打球了,這次要拿球衣讓他簽名

言歸正傳,雖然只是季前熱身賽,Newcastle排出的後衛線還真是強大,除了Mathew Tait因
傷缺陣以外;Jamie Noon是現役英格蘭國手,Matthew Burke是前澳洲隊的當家15號(即使
是現在,我還是認為Burke有世界第一的實力)
至於地主隊Glasgow Warriors,上個球季在Celtic League墊底,陣中除了12號Andrew
Henderson及10號Dan Parks之外,沒有其他實力較受肯定的球員,要贏球恐怕不容易

身為地主球迷,還是希望Glasgow少輸一點....
