先是Villone接受arbitration，目前rotation有Pineiro、Moyer、Meche、Madritsch、
Franklin，所以Franklin和Villone有一人必須移到bullpen。

再來R.Johnson被DFA，Johnson去年ST後段就因為個人因素離開一陣子，似乎也沒人曉得
真正原因是什麼，直到夏天才回到球隊，不過沒什麼機會上場，原本他去年是搶rotation
最好的嗆司。

除了Padres，Rockies也很喜歡找水手換minor，之前才換一個A.Simpson(沒拼錯吧？)，
最近為了騰出一個40-man roster，又把A.Taylor送到Rokies換Sean Green，Taylor看來
比Green好，去年傷後據說fastball還是有93-94mph附近，Green除了今年被安打變少了，
其他沒什麼好說的。

Despite their big-money outlay last week, the Mariners could still be in play
for left-handed starter Odalis Perez, an effort that has been bolstered on
two fronts.

A source in Washington said the Mariners were prepared to better the
Nationals' offer for Perez, reported as three years for about $18 million.
It's not clear whether the Mariners could afford that or would have to move
salary to do so.
