WBSC在2013年將棒球推廣到喜馬拉雅附近，
不丹目前有75萬人口，有800多人正在打棒球，是國內算風行的運動
獲得國際棒總以及日本海外協力隊的協助，不丹在2014年有了棒球聯賽，
明年美國的非營利組織將會進駐開辦棒球訓練營，第一屆錦標賽也有可能在明年開打。
