Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Russell Westbrook has never been afraid to mix
it up on the court. Atlanta Hawks veteran Vince Carter, the oldest player in
the NBA at 41, will always have his teammates' backs.

A spat between the two Friday night resulted in technical fouls for both
players — and Carter wasn't even on the floor.

During the third quarter, Westbrook was dribbling on the right wing against
Hawks defender DeAndre' Bembrey when he lost control of the ball. As the ball

Once referees sorted things out, Trae Young made the Hawks' free throw, and
Paul George hit to put the Thunder ahead 83-67 with 4:09 left in the third.

On the ensuing play, Westbrook hit a turnaround jumper right in front of the
Atlanta bench. He immediately turned and pointed at the Hawks on his way back

3-pointers and has won 14 of 17 since starting the season 0-3.
