The NCAA has banned SMU from 2016 postseason play and has suspended Larry
Brown for 30 percent of the team's games this season because of a lack of
head coach control, according to a report.

NCAA幾天前以「缺乏教練對事務的管控」為由，不僅將南方衛理公會大學(SMU)籃球隊
教練Larry Brown禁賽本季30%的球賽，也剝奪了SMU明年參與季後邀請賽的權利。

Brown will miss nine games total.

這項禁賽令預計將讓布朗爺缺席球隊前九場比賽。

SMU will have nine scholarship losses over the next three seasons.

不僅如此，SMU還被撤掉未來三年總共九個以獎學金徵招學生的名額

Part of the investigation at SMU stemmed from whether a former basketball
administrator and ex-assistant coach Ulric Maligi helped Keith Frazier to
become eligible to play there.

SMU之所以會捲入被聯盟內部調查乃至處分的命運，主要在於學校前籃球事務負責人
與球隊助教Ulric Maligi在徵招Keith Frazier入校後，有了協助取得打球資格的
爭議。

心得︰不管從什麼方面來看，這都是讓人遺憾的消息，
特別是SMU的運動好不容易在布朗爺到來後終於有所起步，
但這次徵招Keith Frazier引起的爭議，卻使他的教練生涯又蒙上了一層陰影
