wait for you to join the players box next year. But most importantly, I am so

Serena Williams, expectant mother and winner of 23 Grand Slams, has returned
to her world No. 1 ranking. Still on vacation in Mexico, the 35-year-old
shared a special message to her future child.
"I can't wait for you to join the players box next year," Williams writes.
"But most importantly, I am so happy to share being number one in the world
with you.... once again today."
While No. 1 may be most important to her, the hint at her return (as soon as
next year) is what will resonate most strongly with her fans and the WTA tour.
Williams also mentions her fiancé Alexis Ohanian, who proposed to her in
Rome last December.
