“The third set I think made a big difference in the mental approach to the
match, and afterwards, it was much easier for me to play,” he said. “I could
let few shots go and try something what I could do. The first match is always
the one to try the things that you feel like, and to see where you are. So I
think that was a good occasion to do it.”

“Today I wasn’t 100% and my opponent outplayed me. I’m really sorry that
I couldn’t give everything but, to be honest, I didn’t expect more
considering what has happened to me recently. I spent 16 days in bed with a
virus infection – when I say in bed, I mean only up to use the bathroom. The
blood test last Thursday was the first one that looked okay, so I decided to
pack things and fly to Paris. I’ve been training on the court not more than
3-4 hours for the last 21 days (since the match against Chardy in Rome). Bad
luck. I also wanted to thank all may fans for amazing support! Wish me luck
so that I could stay healthy for the rest of the season.
因為病毒感染，所以有十六天躺在床上，近21天沒練球超過3.4小時，希望之後能保持健康
