ESPN STAR ASIA secures 5 year tv right for French Open from 2007.

Pan-Asian broadcaster ESPN Star Sports acquired the exclusive TV rights for
tennis’ French Open.
The five-year deal will start with the 2007 Championships. The rights cover
South Asia. Roland Garros will add to the existing line-up of tennis
programming on ESPN, which already includes the Australian Open, Wimbledon,
the ATP Masters Series, the Tennis Masters Cup and other national and Asian
level tournaments.
