Reggie Miller on Deron Williams: "Not accountable"

Reggie Miller joined Paul Pierce in trashing Deron Williams leadership
Wednesday in an interview with Mike Francesa on WFAN. Miller minced no words
in saying that D-WIll has not held himself or his teammates accountable.

Reggie Miller聊到了關於近日Paul Pierce批評Deron Williams的領導才能一事，
Miller直言不諱地說，他認為D-Will並沒有對自己或隊友負責。


Reggie Miller told WFAN, as transcribed by the Daily News...

"I can't argue with what Paul Pierce said. I have to agree with him. I don't
really like to kill guys but you have to call a spade a spade. I think he's
right on.

"The most important position in the game today is the point guard position,"
he added. "And if you can't get that out of your point guard - because that's
the coach on the floor. That's the guy that has to get everyone rallying in
the right position. So if your point guard is not demanding and is not
accountable and is holding everyone else accountable, your team is going to
struggle. That's why Brooklyn has struggled because Deron Williams - not only
has he not held himself accountable, he's not holding anybody on the floor
accountable as well."

Miller表示：

「我無法跟Paul Pierce爭論，我必須同意他說的。
我並不是要詆毀任何人，但你必須實話實說，我認為老皮說得對極了。

場上最重要的位置就是控衛，如果你不能從控衛那得到幫助，
因為控衛是場上的教練，如果你的PG無法讓所有人都出現在正確的位置上，
又如果你的PG並不是嚴格要求、是不負責任的，那你的球隊就會陷入困境。

這就是為什麼布魯克林會陷入泥淖，原因在Deron Williams身上，
不僅是他自己沒能負起責任，他也無法很好地讓場上每個人都負起該負的責任。」
