Cloutier had a GREAT game tonight. Made huge stops on Pronger and Bougenecki
to keep the lead.
Ohlund came back for the Canucks, which automatically made everybody else
on the Canuck Blue line look better. Malik had an average game (took that
stupid penalty at the end of the game that cost us), Baron was good on PK,
Sopel didn't look like garbage for once... Salo and Jovanovski looked GREAT.
Salo was a force defensively tonight, and Jovo was at his best, joining
the rush, creating offense, and laying out some big hits.
Our best forwards were Brandon Reid, Trevor Linden, Klatt, and the Sedins.
They had excellent games. Jarrko Ruutu got to dress tonight and made some
impact, making big hits legally and not being a defensive liability.
The big line was still not great though. Morrison was still the best player
on that line. Bertuziz and Naslund were invisible at times. They had a few
ok chances on the PP, but were most of the time invisible and a defensive
liability. Morrison had a good night defensively though.
