Patriots為了避免Matt Cassel在球季後成為unrestricted FA,將
把他放入明年的franchise tag. 這樣一來,如果明年Brady復健情
況不佳的話,Cassel可以上場; 如果Brady能回復狀況的話,Pats可以
選擇把Cassel交易出去.
據估計,Cassel明年拿franchise tag的話將可以拿到14 mil左右的
薪資,加上Brady明年薪水15 mil, Pats明年光兩個QB就會支出29
mil,而且只有一個會上場.
