Miami Heat president Pat Riley said he’s not taking into account luxury tax
considerations when it comes to Heat legend Dwyane Wade’s future.
邁阿密熱火總裁Pat Riley表示，當講到熱火傳奇人物D-Wade與熱火的未來時，他是不會考
慮到奢侈稅的問題的。

The Heat wants him back, but the question is whether Wade, who would be
playing in his 16th NBA season, is intent on playing another year.
熱火想要他回來，但是現在問題是在Wade還想不想打他的第16個NBA球季。

“I don’t think this is about negotiating a mid-level or dollars,” Riley
told the Sun Sentinel. “It’s about getting Dwyane back. It’s not really
about the tax right now. Even though we have a tax situation, we’ll work our
way around that.”
「我不認為現在是在討論有關中產特例或是其他錢的問題，」Riley跟記者說。「現在就是
在討論要把Wade帶回來。現在跟稅沒關，即使我們有稅的狀況，我們會想辦法解決的。」

The Heat could offer Wade the $5.3 million mid-level exception or the $2.4
million veteran’s minimum. The former would be significantly more costly for
the Heat as a result of the luxury tax.
熱火可以給Wade中產特例，530萬鎂，或者是老將底薪，240萬鎂，但是前者會因為奢侈稅
的關係會讓熱火多付出很多。

But as Riley said, that’s not the Heat’s primary concern.
但是Riley說，那不是現在熱火的主要考量。

“All the business aspects of the tax and the cap, that’s all part of the
equation, but let’s get the team together," he said.
「那些稅或是薪資帽的事情，那都是會要考量的因素之一，但是，讓我們一起把隊組起來
吧，」Riley說。

Riley, who said he values Wade’s veteran leadership on a relatively young
team, said there might be more clarity around Labor Day.
Riley說他對於Wade的老將領導力非常珍惜，尤其熱火是相對年輕的隊伍，他說在美國勞動
節(9/3)前後應該會有比較清楚的答案。
