北京時間9月2日，在剛剛結束的美錦賽半決賽比賽中，加拿大76-77惜敗於委內瑞拉，失
去直接晉級里約奧運會的資格。
本場比賽中，塞爾提克內線 Kelly Olynyk 發揮出色，他上場36分鐘，13投11中得到34分
13個籃板2次助攻。但是除了他，加拿大全隊只有替補後衛Brady Heslip得分上雙，他8投
4中得到10分。
Andrew Wiggins上場26分鐘，11投4中得到9分；Anthony Bennett 2投0中沒有得分，搶下
5個籃板；Cory Joseph 8投1中得到5分3個籃板4次助攻；Robert Sacre沒有上場。
委內瑞拉方面，大前鋒Windi Graterol11投7中得到全隊最高的20分；替補上場的
Heissler Guillent得到19分。
