「黑曼巴」Kobe Bryant即將於本季退休，原本傳出他有意在賽季結束後再披國家隊戰袍打奧運，但Kobe也正式宣布「紫金戰袍」會是他最後一戰所穿的球衣。而Nike也特別為自家品牌球星設計一首主題曲，特別找來葛萊美獎得主Robert Glasper操刀，用「音樂」來向這位傳奇致敬。

Nike找來五屆葛萊美獎提名、兩屆得獎的爵士樂高手Robert Glasper來替Kobe量身打造一首主題曲，用音樂來描述黑曼巴20年來的傳奇生涯，並且用不同的節奏來表達生涯中的高低起伏，這首名為「Be Courageous(勇敢)」的主題曲，讓球迷能夠用音樂再次重溫一次Kobe所帶來的美好！
