As expected, Vincennes University’s Mychal Mulder committed to Kentucky and s
igned his Letter of Intent in a press conference this afternoon. The four-star
guard, a First Team JUCO All-American, will have two seasons of eligibility i
n Lexington.
Mulder averaged 15.7 points with 6.9 rebounds per game last season at Vincenne
s, one of the top JUCO programs in the country. The Trailblazers finished the
year with a 33-2 record.
Mulder also had offers from Wichita State, Creighton, Minnesota, Mississippi S
tate and Missouri, with late interest from Indiana and Louisville. He would’v
e signed with Wichita State last fall if not for a team policy prohibiting pla
yers from signing early.
Welcome aboard.
