Leake arrested for department store theft

Reds pitcher Mike Leake has been arrested for allegedly stealing from a
downtown Cincinnati department store, according to WCPO in Cincinnati.

According to the report, the 23-year-old right hander was arrested at Macy's
on Monday afternoon. The Reds have not yet had a chance to speak with Leake,
according to media relations director Rob Butcher, and therefore declined to
comment at this time.

Police told WCPO that Leake was caught on security camera leaving the store
without paying for $59.88 worth of merchandise. According to the report, he
was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center around 2 p.m. ET on one
count of misdemeanor theft.
