The relationship between Lleyton Hewitt and his wife Bec Hewitt looked to be
solid than ever in January, when the former Australian player had said he
never argued with his wife. But now after 11 years of marriage, the couple,
who have three children, seem to be on the verge of splitting. It seems they
started to have some issues in September when Lleyton started coaching Bernard
Tomic. Bec doesn't like that Lleyton is partying a lot and not carring about
his responsbilities towards his family and home. 'He seems not to want to be
home at all. He was already busy enough and away more than he was at home
before he took on Tomic. This is this final straw. Bec is utterly miserable, '
a friend of the couple shared with Women's Day.
Rumours about their separation had started in April, when Lleyton seemed to be
more than a friend with Australian swimming champion Grant Hackett. 'Bec was
worried that Lleyton and Grant out on the town was going to be a problem. She
was right, 'the friend also said.
