LeBron James turns 34 in December, and he’s still the best basketball player
on the planet. But he knows that won’t always be the case.
LBJ到12月就滿34歲了，但他仍舊是目前地表最強籃球員，但是他知道那不會是永遠的。
In a preview for the second episode of LeBron’s HBO series, The Shop, the
Lakers star shared a discussion with rapper Drake about knowing when to call
it quits. Drake said that the dilemma was the biggest concern of his career,
which led to some key advice from LeBron.
在HBO節目"The Shop"第二集，LBJ跟饒舌歌手Drake討論到何時該退休。Drake說最大的難
題在於對他的事業的關心，而LBJ給了一些忠告。
LeBron shared a clip of the conversation on Instagram.

Drake said:
Drake說：
“I think maybe one of my biggest concerns in my career is just to figure out
how to exit gracefully. I’ve watched people overstay their welcome, and I
just don’t ever want to be that guy that’s addicted to the feeling of
victory, addicted to the emotion of people digesting something that they
love. And get to a point where I’m feeding them something and they’re just
like, ‘Yeah ….”
「對於我的事業，幾個考量之一是何時該優雅的退場。我看過一些人錯過了退場時機，我
不想成為那種對成功的感覺上癮的人，對於人們對他們喜愛的東西有吸收的情感上癮，會
到了一個狀況是我做的東西是他們只會說，『喔..』」
To which LeBron responded:
對此，LBJ回應：
“What helps with the gracefully bowing out is having people around you that
were there from the Day 1. That seen you from the beginning … You can’t
have mother(expletive) around you that don’t keep it honest with you, that
don’t keep it real with you. You gotta have someone to tell you like, ‘Yo,
either accept a lesser role or you gotta tank.'”
「如果找到怎樣可以幫助自己優雅的退場的方式，是要有從一開始就在你身邊的人...不可
能旁邊沒有可以對你誠實的人，不可能旁邊沒有幫你看清事實的人，你要有個人可以跟你
說，「嘿~~要嘛接受自己不是主角，不然就得接受事實。』」
The full episode featuring LeBron with Drake, Maverick Carter, Ben Simmons,
Victor Oladipo, Mo Bamba And Elena Delle Donne airs Friday on HBO.
