Karl：Melo專注在得分上讓他看起來很自私 - NBA

While Karl and Anthony had their differences at times, wearing on each other’
s nerves over the years, they did have success — making the playoffs in each
of their seven seasons together in Denver.

但George Karl & Carmelo Anthony在金塊合作的七年，球隊年年都打進季後賽。

"I think people at times harshly judged ’Melo because a scorer at times does
look selfish," Karl said. "But I can’t complain. ’Melo helped the Denver
Nuggets when I was with them win 50 games consistently. We didn’t have that
ultra-playoff success except that one year. In the same sense, the standard
that he stands for in scoring is top three, top five in basketball."

Karl表示：「我認為人們對於Melo有些嚴格批判了，
就因為他專注在得分箭頭上而讓他看起來變得自私。

但我沒有怨言，當Melo和我在金塊的時候，
每一年我們都能取得快50勝的戰績，成功打進季後賽。
同時，他也是聯盟前三或前五的得分好手。」

After making the playoffs every year together and Anthony continuing that
streak for three more years without him, Karl said he’s surprised to see him
with a team struggling as badly as the Knicks have this season.

對比尼克現今的沒落，Karl也感到驚訝。

"Yeah, I can’t deny that," Karl said. "Two years ago, they were a 54-win
team. Now to fall this fast, this quickly, is definitely a surprise to me. I
didn’t see it coming. And then when it came, it came faster than I thought."

Karl表示：「沒錯，我無法否認。兩年前他們還是支54勝的球隊，現在下滑得如此快。
這的確讓我感到很驚訝。

我無法想像這局面，發生這種事也超出我的想像。」
