Could Klay Thompson be talked into leaving Warriors for L.A.?

Klay Thompson is one of just five Golden State Warriors who isn’t a free
agent this summer, but even he is reportedly being recruited to leave the
world champions.
K湯今年夏天還不會是自由球員，但已經有報導一直有人在招募他，要他離開勇士。
Indiana Pacers All-Star Paul George, like Thompson a native of Los Angeles,
has reached out to try to convince the Warriors’ star to join him with the
Lakers in two years. Thompson has two years left on his 4-year, $69 million
deal, which means he’d be a free agent in the summer of 2019.
溜馬的全明星球員PG，跟K湯一樣都是LA本地人，他已經嘗試說服K湯，希望兩年內可以跟
他一起加入湖人。K湯現在的合約是四年6900萬鎂，還有兩年的約要走，所以K湯要到2019
年才會是自由球員。
However, the Warriors hold Thompson’s Bird rights and no doubt have every
intention of keeping their star two-way guard.

“He’s (George) definitely put in a call to Klay Thompson, and obviously he
feels like Klay Thompson is a guy that he would love to play with on the
Lakers,” NBA Sports Bay Area analyst Kelenna Azubuike said during an
interview on 95.7 The Game Tuesday morning. “Now, for all we know, Klay
could have said, ‘Buzz off, I’m staying with the Warriors.’ It doesn’t
really mean much that he put in a call.

figure out who can come with him to the Lakers.”

George is trying to sell Thompson on the idea of building a super team in

James. Still, it would seem George has a tough task convincing Thompson to
leave what he’s helped build in Oakland.
