While the Brooklyn Nets are currently considered as the heavy favorites to c
ome out of the East, there are more than a few folks out there that would be
g to differ. One such man is NBA legend Julius Erving, who firmly believes t
hat the Philadelphia 76ers have what it takes to defeat the mighty Nets come
playoffs.

In his appearance on Inside the Green Room Podcast with Danny Green, the gre
at Dr. J presented a number of compelling arguments as to why he believes th
is notion to be true:

First of all,[the Sixers]have an advantage coaching-wise based on experience
with [head coach Doc Rivers],in terms of championship experience that[Green
has], that Dwight[Howard] has,Julius Erving said,via Dan Roche of NBC Sport
s Philadelphia.And the ambition of Ben[Simmons] and Joel [Embiid],these guys
are hungry now,they’ve been a part of what they call The Process for sever
al years, and it's time for The Process to bear some fruit.

The Sixers do have a wealth of experience and are extremely hungry.But then
again,the same can be said about the Nets.Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have
both been to the pinnacle of the NBA,and they both know what it takes to wi
n it all.and then there’s James Harden.
