The Red Sox will place Bobby Jenks and Dan Wheeler on the disabled list prior
to Thursday's game against the Angels.
Jenks was unavailable for Wednesday's marathon after his arm "cramped up,"
while Wheeler has an 11.32 ERA over his first 11 appearances this season. Red
Sox manager Terry Francona is expected to detail the injuries before
gametime. Rich Hill and Scott Atchison have been called up from Triple-A
