Quick Chat: Rashard Lewis is the Blazers #1 priority.

During his end of season chat at OLive.com, Quick said he is being told that
the Blazers #1 priority come FA time will be to find a way to sign Rashard
Lewis. It will likely have to be a 3 team deal to get it done and it will
likely have to involve Zach Randolph. He said he wouldnt be surprised to see
Nate and Kevin knocking on Rashard's door come midnight July 1st. They will
likely look for every opportunity to get Rashard in a Blazer uniform this
summer, hes that big of a priority for the team.

Other notes from Quick:

*Quick talked with Jack and asked him if he thinks he will be here next
season. Jack said "Anything can happen". Quick mentioned that hes heard
Atlanta has some interested, to which Jack replied, "Ya, I hear that too. I
also hear; Miami, Cleveland and Milwaukee are interested in me."

*He thinks we've seen the last of Martell in a Blazer uniform.

*Roy will take a team mandated 3 weeks off from basketball, but he wants to
be around the team a lot this summer. He wants to be there practicing with
the guys, getting acquainted with the new guys at summer league, etc. Quick
says he just can't stop gushing about Brandon. He said hes the "most
impressive professional athlete and human hes ever been around".

*LaMarcus said he feels great, but hes currently under a doctor mandate not
to run. Yet hes still lifting weights and staying in shape. He will be ready
to begin running again in about 3 weeks and will be with the team in Summer
League. Bobby Medina still compares Aldridge to Jermaine O'Neal in terms of
work ethic.

*Sergio is a questionmark. Hes gonna be with his national team this summer,
and as of right now, it looks like he wont make it for the Summer League.

*Freddie Jones will be going down to Houston for this Portland AAU sponsored
team. Nate wants Freddie to lose 15lbs.

*The Blazers will keep their "open gym" for NBA players this summer.

*He thinks the Blazers will move Dan Dickau. Dan's got an easy contract to
move, and they want a more proven PG.

*Kevin Pritchard said the #1 priorities are to find a SF and a bigman.

*Quick expects this roster to be changed dramatically this summer. He things
at least of the Blazers starting 5 (by that he means the starting 5 at the
beginning of the year) will be dealt this summer.

*Right now, he thinks the Blazers will "flirt" with the Playoffs next year.
Probably hovering around the 40 win area. He still thinks they might be one
year away, but they are very close and have a chance to make it.
