When Thomas Robinson was waived by the Denver Nuggets last month, the Sixers
jumped on the opportunity to claim the former top-five pick and try to help
him realize his massive potential. On Thursday, 2014 second-round selection
Glenn Robinson III was waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team again
acted quickly.

per game. He joins Jerami Grant as one of two players on the Sixers with a
father who also once suited up for the team.
