Giannis Antetokounmpo to miss EuroBasket

“I want everyone to be informed that I will not help the Greek NT in
Eurobasket. All this time I push myself to work out. I try to pretend that it
doesn’t hurt and that I’m ready to play. My willingness had an effect on my
consciousness, but the tests I did in China with the Bucks brought me back to
reality”, says the 23-year-old player.

“I failed to follow the exercises they put me through”, Antetokounmpo
follows. “The pain would stop me in the first seconds. I have to work on my
knee issues as much as I can.”

The Greek Freak is heavy-hearted with this turn of events: “It’s the
biggest disappointment of my career”, he states.
