前法網冠軍Schiavone稍早透過推特，告訴大家消失的這幾個月她發生了什麼事。

"HI everyone, upon 7-8 of silence from social media and from the world, I wish
to share with you what happened to me. A cancer had been diagnosed to me. I d
id chemotherapy, I fought a though battle and now I am still breathing. I have
won this fight. And now I am back in action".

從影片可以看到化療後她依然不馴的鬥士精神，恭喜她戰勝生涯中最重要的一役。
