Ernesto Mejia 先前與西武隊簽下三年15億日圓合約已經在本季結束之後到期了
而他也選擇大幅降薪繼續留在西武隊效力
雙方預計將會簽下一年5000萬日圓左右的短約
渡邊久信GM在接受訪問時表示球隊目前鎖定先發型與中繼型的外籍洋投
至於在洋砲部分則是希望再找能夠守內外野的球員
