Roddick to the rescue

Andy Roddick has pulled the USA back from a 0-1 deficit with a tight,
straight sets victory over Nicolas Massu to level the tie against Chile at
the end of the opening day of the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas quarterfinal.

Roddick defeated Massu 63 76(5) 76(5) in a little over two and a half hours
at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California.

Earlier, Fernando Gonzalez staged a remarkable comeback to defeat James Blake
in a monumental four hour, 20 minute match 67(5) 06 76(2) 64 108 earning
Chile a 1-0 lead in the tie.
