Cuban：我最糟糕的決定不是放走Nash.... - NBA

Owner Mark Cuban, who now admits he wishes he’d never let Nash go in free
agency in 2004, said the two MVP trophies Nash won with the Suns makes his
career “amazing.” Cuban, who spent time with Nash a couple weeks back at a
birthday bash, also said it’s impossible to know what would have happened if
things had worked out differently.

小牛老闆Mark Cuban近日接受採訪時表示，04年其實不應該讓Steve Nash進入自由市場。

同時他認為，Nash在太陽兩奪MVP使他的職業生涯變得更加出色。

Cuban幾個星期前曾和Nash在一個生日宴會上會面，他說做人無法預測事情下一秒的變化。


“All I could do was take the best advice I had going for me,” he said,
looking back on that free-agent goof. “It was at a time when we had the
better team and lost four out of five to Sacramento in the first round. If I
knew then what I know now, it would probably be different. All I knew was
that I was being told we were going to have to cut his minutes.”

Cuban表示：「我所能做的工作就是採納最好的建言，看看當年的自由市場，

那時我們是一支更好的隊伍，卻在第一輪就1-4輸給了國王。


如果我那時能預見去了太陽的Nash表現是這麼出色，

那我的決定肯定會有所不同，

After a brief pause, Cuban said: “Whoops.”

By the way, Cuban said letting Nash go was not the worst personnel decision
of his ownership.

Cuban事後說到，放走Nash並不是他個人所做出最糟糕的決定.....
