Manuel Pellegrini has hit back at Arsene Wenger by insisting Manchester
City's deals for Frank Lampard and Bacary Sagna were done 'correctly'.

首先 工程師先回應了溫格質問"曼城租借Lampard，難道不算違反財政公平嗎?"
(外加曼城搶走SAGNA)

Pellegrini admitted he was 'surprised' Wenger had chosen to take issue with
City's transfer dealings.

And asked ahead of Sunday's Community Shield against Arsenal whether he was
confident both deals had been done correctly, he replied: "Yes, I think so."

He added: "I think that as a manager we have enough problems with our teams
without talking about other teams. I will not answer that but I can say we

to Manchester. He was a free player so I don’t understand the reaction of
Chelsea fans who say he is a traitor because he is not at Chelsea.

"The problem was not that Frank Lampard didn’t want to sign another contract
with Chelsea, Chelsea didn’t want him any more.

"He wants to continue playing and he is a good player and very important for
our team.

"We didn’t spend any money on him so the rules of financial fair play doesn’
t have any relation with Lampard."

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed he will be without the seven members of his
squad who were given extended breaks following the World Cup when they play
Arsenal in Sunday's Community Shield at Wembley.

He said: "Frank Lampard is not ready to play.

"All the players that arrive this Monday, Demichelis. Vincent Kompany, Pablo
Zabaleta, Sagna, Fernandinho, Lampard and Aguero, they have a special
pre-season this week and next week.

"Negredo has at least two or three months that he won’t play. He is coming
to Carrington again and he is working on different things."

But despite the absentees, Pellegrini insists he's keen to get City's season
off to a winning start.

Pellegrini said: "It is not a friendly match.

"It is an important game against an important team in Arsenal.

"Maybe both teams, Arsenal and our team, do not arrive in our best moment
because both have a lot of players who have just arrived from the World Cup
but I think it will be a very good game and important for both teams to win
it.

"We have to start from zero, we won the title last year but now plenty of
teams have the same option."
