CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hornets power forward Cody Zeller suffered a right
shoulder injury in his team's 95-69 loss to the Wizards on Monday.

Zeller skied to block a dunk attempt from the Wizards' Bradley Beal, smacking
his right shoulder on the backboard and landing awkwardly. He will miss the
Hornets' Wednesday game against the Kings as a result, and could sit out of
Friday's game against the Bulls.

"It's a sprain," Hornets coach Steve Clifford said. "I think we're actually
lucky it wasn't worse, just the way that he landed. Right now he can't move
his arm up over his shoulder, so I'd say definitely tonight, doubtful against
Chicago and then hopeful against Utah."
