Los Angeles, March 16 (CNA) Taiwanese right-hander Chien-ming Wang picked up
his first win in three pre-season games as a reliever for the Cincinnati Reds
Sunday, giving up only one hit in two scoreless innings and helping the Reds
beat Oakland Athletics 7-6.

The 33-year-old induced five groundouts and one fly-out after taking the
mound in the top of the sixth inning when the score was 5-5.

The Reds made it 7-5 in the bottom of the seventh, giving Wang his first win
since he signed a Minor League contract with the team in December.

second save, with the bases loaded in the ninth, in the Cleveland Indians'
