Chandler Parsons already recruiting Dwight Howard to join Mavericks

帕帥已經開始遊說曹眉壽加入小牛了

Since joining the Dallas Mavericks, Chandler Parsons has acted as the team's
No. 1 recruiter, going above and beyond to woo free agents to join the team.
Parsons and the Mavs famously struck out with DeAndre Jordan last summer, so
the Mavs forward is getting a head start on his recruitment this offseason by
making his pitch to Dwight Howard, who is still playing in the postseason with
the Houston Rockets.

Howard can opt out of his contract and is expected to do so, not just to make
more money but to also leave the Rockets. Parsons played with Howard in Houston
and is hoping their friendship can persuade the Rockets center to come join the
Mavs next season.

"I think [Howard] can still dominate the game." Parsons told reporters on
Tuesday via ESPN's Tim MacMahon. "I think he can still be a great player in
this league. And I think he's going to leave Houston, so why not come here?"

The funny thing about Parsons' open recruitment of Howard is that he himself
will be a free agent after he opts out of his contract. However, Parsons said
he wants to returns to Dallas, and that as soon as he has a new contract he
will turn his attention to recruiting Howard.

不過頭號遊說員今年也打算跳出合約 所以大概是先把自己合約搞定後就來招募曹眉壽
(那你的合約就分成球員跟制服組兩份吧)

Averaging 13.7 points and 12.7 rebounds, Howard would be a nice fit in Dallas
as the Mavs have been lacking at the center position for quite some time.
Similar to Deron Williams, he would also join the Mavs after his prime. Still,
he could be revitalized by a new situation and Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle
can surely work his coaching wizardry to maximize Howard's strengths.
