Wenger has been criticised for using too many foreign players and squeezing
young British talent out of the Gunners.

But former Gunner Bentley, who was dropped from the Spurs squad against
Udinese in the UEFA Cup on Thursday after his outspoken assessment of Spurs'
campaign, says he had no problem with Wenger.

Bentley, describing his time at Arsenal before joining Blackburn Rovers on a

"The environment and the banter weren't that enjoyable. It was quite

"I have to say the manager (Arsene Wenger) was always good to me and I never
　felt any anti-British vibe as people have suggested about him."
