版上應該沒人看過羅素爺打過球，

但羅素爺的進攻與身體素質大概在什麼程度可以從這一部十秒鐘的反擊快攻略知一二。

搶下籃板，雖是中鋒，但仍可直接運球快速推進，到最後在罰球線後一呎的地方跳起，飛過一人挑籃成功，這種程度放在今天來看，也足夠驚人了。尤其考慮到當時籃球鞋基本上就是布鞋、運動科學還未蓬勃發展的環境下，被稱作上古神獸也不為過。

當然時代相隔太久遠，互相比較並沒有實質意義，再加上過去的聯盟球隊總數不高，整體強度或許不及今日。但羅素為人尊敬的原因不只是在運動表現上，還有在籃球史上，以黑人的身分打破許多上個世紀籃壇與種族相關的風氣與紀錄，這才是羅素在NBA之所以被景仰、所象徵的意義。
