There was revenge in the air on Steffi Graf Stadium in the semi-final as
Justine vanquished Amelie Mauresmo 6-1 6-2 in 58 minutes. The Belgian heroine
showcased all the reasons why she is this generation's greatest clay courter
in the world. Justine will play Nadia Petrova once again for the big finale
on Sunday to take home the Qatar Telecom German Open Falcon trophy. The match
will start at 14:00 hrs.

"I played really well. I was aggressive from the start, and held my form till
the very end to win this match. Amelie did have a physical disadvantage
playing that set earlier with Hingis, but I am really happy with the manner I
have played. My husband is flying over to see the final here. This is another
reason why I was compelled to win" - Justine

Justine didn't know who her semi-final adversary would be until 13:00 hrs,
when Mauresmo defeated Martina Hingis 6-4 for the 3rd set. This quarterfinal
match was carried over from previous evening. Revenge came quickly, and
sweetly for the swashbuckling Belgian as Mauresmo didn't even get a look in
the semi-final match; much less a glance.

Justine took charge of the match from the first point with pure classic
Henin-Hardenne style clay court tennis. Huge returns, pencil tip line marking
passing shots, one-handed backhands flying left or right, yet quicker than
the eye. It was 3-0 in too soon for Mauresmo. In less than a half hour,
Amelie Mauresmo was left a bit dazed, and confused. The first set went to
Justine 6-1.

Mauresmo played her best tennis in the second set, but only managed to gain
two games, one of which was a loose game given by Justine. When the Belgian
4x grand slam champion is playing this well, it's hypnotic, and bewildering
to the audience, who only wished that it won't end. Unfortunately or
fortunately for Amelie, the second set stopped at 6-2 in less than 30
minutes.

"We played the Fed Cup match, and she's been on red hot form. It will be a
difficult match, but I'm happy to be in another final once more." - Justine

Final Score 6-1 6-2 in 58 minutes
