Report: Sixers’ Ben Simmons set for foot surgery, out three months

Philadelphia 76ers No. 1 pick Ben Simmons will have foot surgery and is
expected to miss three months, slating him for a December or January return
to the court, ESPN reports.

選秀狀元Ben Simmons將於下個星期接受腳部手術，預計要休養三個月

可能要等到十二月至一月才能夠重回球場


The Sixers announced Friday that Simmons had a fracture in his right foot,
with Bob Cooney of the Philadelphia Daily News first reporting the news.

七六人官方則是在星期五正式宣布Simmons的右腳出現骨折


ESPN’s Marc Stein reported Saturday that Simmons is set to have surgery next
week, with the team believing he suffered an “acute” injury unrelated to
stress from off-season muscle and weight gain. ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reported
the timetable, and that the Sixers plan to be conservative with Simmons’s
recovery.

另外根據ESPN記者Marc Stein與Jeff Goodman的消息指出，Simmons將會在下個星期動刀

而球團方面則是認為他的受傷是屬於急性運動傷害，與休季期間的增重並無關聯性

目前76人對於Simmons的恢復評估將會採取比較保守的態度


Simmons was the top selection in this year’s draft out of LSU. He fractured
the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot while rolling his ankle during
the team’s final camp practice on Friday.
