Former NBA All-Star Baron Davis is expected to sign with the Philadelphia 76er
s' NBA Development League affiliate in Delaware, league sources told The Verti
cal.
Davis, 36, made two All-Star appearances in 13 NBA seasons after being the thi
rd overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft.

In the 2012 NBA playoffs, Davis emerged as a starter for the Knicks before suf
fering complete tears of the ACL, MCL and patellar tendon in his right knee. H
e has been out of the NBA ever since, but has worked to elevate his fitness to
return to pro basketball and signed with the D-League in January.
