On Saturday, Catherine Panagiotopoulos accepted a marriage
proposal from long-time Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek.

Tek popped the question while the couple dined at Strega Waterfront.

Panagiotopoulos previously dated Yankee Nick Swisher, whom she met when he
was playing in the Cape Cod League.

In saying "yes," Panagiotopoulos becomes the latest addition to our
collection of some of the first ladies of Boston sports.
