Off-season training / December 03, 2008

I’ve been training in Spain for the past two weeks. I bought a holiday home
in Mallorca. It’s a very quiet and peaceful area, so it’s a perfect place
to train and relax. I have always liked Mallorca: I used to come here to
train when I was 15.

過去兩禮拜我在西班牙接受訓練。我在馬洛卡買了間度假屋。那是非常安靜和
平合的區域，所以那是訓練和放鬆的完美所在。我總是很喜歡馬洛卡：當我15
歲的時候總是到此訓練。

(Ana離西板越來越近了嗎？....淚)

I will continue to live in Switzerland, but this gives me another option for
training, especially in the winter when you can practise outdoors.

我會繼續住在瑞士，但是這給我另一個訓練選擇，特別是在冬天你可以在戶外
練習。

My cousin visited me when I moved in, which was very nice. The neighbours
have been very friendly too.

我堂(表)兄弟姊妹之一在我搬進來的時候來拜訪我，那很棒。鄰居也很好。

(外國語言就這點麻煩 我同學說起 my cousin...我都得問which one 故事才接得下去XD)

My first week of training was mainly conditioning work, but I had a light hit
a few times. Even though the focus has been fitness work, it’s important to
slowly work yourself back into a rhythm on the court. It’s also good for
your hands, otherwise you can get blisters if you go from not playing at all
for two weeks, to intense hitting.

我的第一週訓練主要是體能功課，但是我也有幾次的簡單擊球。雖然主要關注
在健身方面，但讓你自己慢慢回到場上的節奏很重要。那也對你的手很好，不
然如果你從兩禮拜沒打球到強力擊球，你的手會起水泡。

I am now training hard on the court too. I have a hitting partner here with
me.

我現在也在場上努力訓練，我在此有陪練員和我一起。

I watched one of the best films I’ve ever seen recently: The Kite Runner. I
cried so much afterwards. I really recommend this movie.

我最近看了我看過最棒的電影：The Kite Runner。我之後哭了好多次。我很推
薦這部電影。

I’m looking forward to the new season. My goal is to win another Grand Slam.

我很期待新賽季，我的目標是另一個大滿貫。
