fly balls, only moving around in the OF without a glove on.

(5) @BryanHoch: Aroldis Chapman was scheduled to throw a live batting practice
session and skipped it, Aaron Boone said. Chapman has gone home to Miami.

(6) @BryanHoch: Boone said the Yankees are exploring disciplinary action
against Aroldis Chapman in addition to leaving him off the playoff roster.

Nestor Cortes went 1-0 with a 2.19 ERA and 14 K in 12.1 IP (3 ER, 2 HR)
against Cleveland this year.

Luis Severino did not face the Guardians in 2022.

Kyle Schwarber’s 46 HR.

That difference of 16 HR is the largest gap between 1st and 2nd place across
the Majors since 1932 (when Jimmie Foxx hit 58 HR to Babe Ruth’s 41).

100 years. The only team with more is 1987 Twins (28).

(6) @ktsharp: Yankees finished the season with just 6 losses by 5+ runs.

They are the first team to have 6 or fewer losses by 5+ runs
in a (non-shortened) season since the 1977 Dodgers.
