PHILADELPHIA — Terry Francona didn't come right out and say that David Ortiz
would play first base tomorrow night with Adrian Gonzalez shifting to right
field.

But he told NESN that Ortiz was likely to play first and that the only way
that could happen would be to put Gonzalez to right.

"That's what I hear," Ortiz said.

Said Dustin Pedroia: "It'll be good offensively, but damn, I've gotta play
second, first and right. That's a lot of ground to cover, man. I've got small
legs."
