In mid-July, the 76ers opened up trade conversations surrounding Simmons and
engaged with interested teams, as The Athletic reported.

So far, the 76ers have not received an offer they deem enough to move Simmons
and the franchise has wanted Simmons back to rejoin an Eastern Conference
contender. Philadelphia has no trade imminent, although teams are calling,
according to sources.
